She has worked as an independent contractor for law firms of various practice areas and sizes in New York, Seattle, San Diego, Kansas City and Chicago including Hull McGuire (corporate/government/environmental law), Marler Clark (food safety law), and Parker Waichman Alonso (consumer law). From 1999-2004, she was a paralegal at DLA Piper’s Chicago office in the litigation and bankruptcy practice groups.
